SIDEKIK
Sidekik is an application created to pair volunteers/freelancers/new graduates, who are looking to grow their experience and portfolios, with small businesses that need supplementary assistance.
This was a solo project. All pieces below were completed by me.

The why
(inspiration)
Moved by the difficulties experienced by my favourite small businesses.
My vision was to create a volunteer-based app that pairs small businesses with freelancers or new graduates who are looking to either lend a helping hand or build their portfolio.
Figuring it out
(sketches)
Mapping out user flows
Planning out the user's journey when completing key steps

Low fidelity paper wireframes
Here I am imagining how the above user flows would look like within the app

My favourite part
(mood board and
style guide)
Mood board
Narrowing down inspiration - layouts, fonts and colour palettes

Style guide
Designing key style elements such as icons, buttons and the logo.

Do you see
what I see?
(user testing)
Useberry
Using the platform Useberry, I was able to test out the prototype with actual participants by providing them with actionable tasks to complete.
The results showed that most users understood how to complete the task and that the layout and flow was intuitive.
